Finally!!!! And after reading all of my Geek Forums...it seems I may be the only one excited!!! I wasn't going to post this, but after reading posts on board, after board...even commentary on national news network stations, it's AMAZING to me there's such a vibe of negative feedback. Such little fanfare from Apple to promote this incredible feat!!! All they did was put a message on their front page of their site; declaring "Tomorrow is a just another day...that you'll never forget" with the addition of four time zones on small clocks; LA, New York, Tokyo and London. That's IT!! That is ALL they did to promote the release of the full Beatle's catalog the next morning. Talk about phenomenal media buzz. It was EVERYWHERE!!!! CNN, MSNBC, Fox News...there was a blurb in major newspapers this morning...and Every single blog that had or has anything to do with technology...Everyone was talking about it....then...Boom!!!yesterday morning, 6am Alaska time, the announcement was made that the Beatle's catalog is entirely available for immediate download on iTunes. Not JUST the music; there are videos...including a movie of their very first concert!!! Commercials and other very cool content; Mini LP which includes "feature on each album, photos, notes, and again...the video of the band's 1964 gig at Washington Coliseum!" $149 for the box set and it includes ALL 13 studio albums, the concert, the LP content and "Past Masters". After a quick visit to the iTunes store, it's obvious where the true support resides. Right there, where the REAL fans are:) Those that made the purchase. 4.5 out of 5 stars so far with well over 1,000 box set purchasers that have taken the time to rate it. All 13 albums are in the iTunes top 100...arguably, the ONLY band to have EVER sold 1 Billion records, continues to sell in the digital age! It's an awesome, awesome Win for BOTH Steve (Jobs) and Yoko (ohhh.NOOO!!!!)...in my Very Humble Opinion!!!! Here's the link to Apple's Home page http://www.apple.com/ Click to spend!
