Today is National Pet Day! National Pet Day was founded by the same woman who came up with other holidays such as National Dog Day and National Cat Day. National Pet Day is all about celebrating our own pets and the joy they bring to our lives. But, it is also about creating public awareness about animals that currently live in shelters and rescues and are in need of a forever home. Just like this local news in Bolivia recently did. They had a dog on the news to talk about adoptions and the puppy decided that was a time to take a HUGE dump right on the news desk. Not sure what you feed your dogs, but if this puppy drops anchor like this NOW, we are frightened by the dumps he will be leaving as a full grown dog!
